PRESENCE

PRESENCE (2026)

Three narrators struggle to feel present in a hyper-connected world. They soon realise that presence is related to deeper existential issues: trauma, grief, loss of hope and faith in a changing world.

As their voices, stories and on-screen incarnations cross paths, their healing journey takes them to a magical place in the desert.

Roman's most personal and most ambitious project to date

A feature-length creative non-fiction / autofiction film stretching the boundaries of genres, non-linear narratives, warped timelines

A meditation on the most universal issue of our times

Filming locations include the deserts and highways of Nevada, plus Athens, London, Salzburg, Hiroshima, Mauthausen, Ha Long Bay

Scripting, pre-production and initial filming in 2024-2025
Main filming in 2025
Post-production and release in 2026

Budget: £50k, including a £10k goal from crowdfunding
